To ensure that your items maintain their quality and longevity, it is important to follow the proper care instructions. Please note that failure to do so may result in damage to the product.
Handwashing Only
It is crucial to avoid using a washing machine to clean your crochet products. Instead, we recommend handwashing them to preserve their delicate craftsmanship. Handwashing allows for more control over the cleaning process and minimizes the risk of tangling or stretching the fibers.
To handwash your crochet item, follow these steps:
- Fill a basin or sink with lukewarm water.
- Add a mild detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics.
- Gently submerge the crochet product into the soapy water.
- Using your hands, carefully agitate the water to clean the item.
- Rinse the product thoroughly with clean water until all soap residue is removed.
- Press the item gently to remove excess water, but avoid wringing or twisting it.
- Place the crochet product on a clean towel and reshape it to its original form.
- Allow the item to air dry flat on the towel, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
